Shipping policy
This Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy (“Policy”) forms an integral part of the Terms of use of LadyBug Jewels (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order on our website, the customer (“you”, “your”) agrees to be bound by this Policy.
SHIPPING TERRITORY
- The Company currently offers delivery only within the territory of India.
- Deliveries are limited to locations serviceable by its logistics partners. Serviceability is determined at checkout through pin-code verification.
- The Company shall not be liable for delivery to locations categorised as non-serviceable.
- International shipping is not offered at present.
SHIPPING CHARGES
- Standard Shipping within India is provided free of charge for serviceable locations.
- Any expedited production or priority deliver requested by the customer may attract additional charges, which shall be communicated prior to processing.
MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTION
- All jewellery is manufactured on a made-to-order basis.
- Production timelines are indicative and subject to material availability, quality checks, hallmarking, and force majeure events.
- The standard production period is a minimum of 10(ten) business days prior to dispatch.
DISPATCH & DELIVERY TIMELINE
- Upon dispatch, customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.
- Tracking information may take up to 48 hours to reflect in courier systems.
- Orders are typically delivered within 3-4 weeks from order confirmation, subject to: production completion, delivery location, logistics network conditions.
- Timelines are estimates and shall not be construed as guaranteed delivery dates.
SHIPPING PARTNERS
The Company uses reputed and insured logistics providers including but not limited to Blue Dart and Sequel Logistics.
DELIVERY VERIFICATION & RISK TRANSFER
- Delivery shall be completed through OTP authentication sent to customer’s registered mobile number.
- Sharing the OTP with the courier representative constitutes proof of delivery and acceptance of goods in good condition.
- Responsibility for safeguarding the OTP rests solely with the customer.
- The risk of loss or damage to the product transfers to the customer upon successful OTP-authenticated delivery.
- The Company shall not be liable for claims arising from unauthorised OTP disclosures.
FAILED DELIVERY
Delivery shall be deemed unsuccessful if caused by:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Recipient unavailability after multiple attempts
- Refusal to accept delivery
In such cases, the shipment shall be returned to the Company.
- Re-dispatch may be arranged subject to payment of additional shipping charges.
- If the order is cancelled due to customer-caused delivery failure, only store credit may be issued after deduction of logistics, insurance, and handling charges.
PACKAGING & SECURITY
- All jewellery is shipped in tamper-evident, secure packaging.
- Customers are required to record unboxing video without cuts as proof in case of transit damage claims.
RETURNS ELIGIBILTY
Due to the customised, made-to-order nature of products, returns are accepted only if:
- The product is delivered damaged; or
- There is a manufacturing defect.
No return, refund, or exchange shall be permitted for:
- Change of mind
- Size issues not attributable to Company error
- Minor variations inherent in handcrafted jewellery
- Customised or engraved pieces
RETURN INTIMATION
- Customers must notify the Company within 48 hours of delivery.
- Notification must include:
- Clear photos
- Continuous unboxing video
- Invoice copy
- Failure to provide evidence may result in rejection of claim.
RETURN PROCESS
- Customers shall not ship items back without written authorisation.
- Upon approval, the Company shall arrange reverse pickup.
- The returned product shall undergo quality inspection.
- If defect/damage is verified, the Company may, at its discretion:
- Provide a replacement; or
- Issue store credit.
RETURN SHIPPING COST
If the return is approved due to transit damage or manufacturing defect, return logistics shall be borne by the Company.
INSURANCE IN TRANSIT
All shipments are insured until delivery confirmation through OTP verification. Insurance coverage ceases post-delivery authentication.
FORCE MAJEURE
The Company shall not be liable for delay or failure due to events beyond reasonable control, include natural disasters, strikes, regulatory actions, or logistics disruptions.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability for any claim related to shipping or delivery shall not exceed the order value.
POLICY AMENDMENTS
The Company reserves the right to amend this Policy without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of order placement shall apply.
